The unexpected events covered by the Ticket Protection Policy are:
- injuries, sudden illness or death of the policyholder, of a family member or of someone connected to them;
- severe pregnancy complications;
- damage to the policyholder’s property due to fires, explosions, blasts, storms, hail, lighting, flooding, earthquakes or criminal deeds committed by third parties, provided that it is extensive damage and the presence of the policyholder onsite is requested by the Competent Authorities in order to clarify the facts; transfer of the policyholder after signing a new employment contract if the ticket was purchased before stipulating the new contract and if the distance between the place of the event and the new residing place is over 100 km;
- the cancellation insurance is also valid in case of verified COVID-19 infection of the policyholder or one of their family members, certified by reports with positive results in accordance with the procedures and timing provided by current regulations.
